Creative Track-Making for Adults
A hands-on short course in songwriting, beat-making & music production
This dynamic short course is designed for adults eager to dive into the world of music creation and production. Across five weekly sessions (3 hours each), you’ll explore the core elements of modern music-making: composition, production, piano, and drums.
Working primarily with Logic Pro and MIDI, you’ll also get hands-on experience with live instruments, including an acoustic drum kit and synths — giving you real insight into performance techniques, sound design, and how to bring your ideas to life. You’ll learn the foundations of music theory and harmony in a fun, practical way, with guidance tailored to your level — from complete beginners to more advanced musicians.
In each session, we’ll also listen to and break down tracks by famous artists, uncovering the techniques behind them so you can apply similar creative tools in your own music.
What You’ll Gain:
- A solid understanding of how to compose a song or soundtrack
- Skills in drum programming, beat-making, and sample manipulation
- Insight into sound design using synths and effects
- A deeper connection to your own creative process
- Practical knowledge of how to structure, arrange, and finish a track
Optional Add-On:
Document your musical journey! For an additional fee, I offer video documentation of your creative process — a great way to capture your experience or build content for your portfolio or social media.
