Deploy Walls is the duo of Bojan ‘Chibsterr’ Nikolić (harsh noise, feedback, fractured sequencing) and Lucia Fenzi (jazz-rooted experimental drums). Together they improvise unstable sonic structures where noise collides with fractured IDM, Breakcore debris, and free jazz volatility. Loops collapse, rhythms rupture, and nothing resolves.
Verdrone is an experimental EP born from the collaboration between Lucia Fenzi and Enrico Lucchese, blending live drumming with modular synths and textured electronic elements.
The project reflects a deep exploration of mood and atmosphere, where organic drum performances merge seamlessly with bold, distorted sounds, creating a rich and immersive soundscape.
Each track tells a unique story, from the melancholic tones of Sad Birds to the cinematic journey of Faro Five Raw. The hypnotic pulses of Crave C. Verdrone contrast with the unsettling dream-like qualities of Bad Dreams, while Three Something rounds out the collection with intricate rhythms and layered improvisation.
Verdrone is more than a collection of tracks—it’s an emotional exploration of imperfections, contrasts, and the creative tension between human spontaneity and electronic precision. This EP invites listeners to dive into its dynamic and evocative world, where every sound feels alive and full of intention.
Lucia’s EXPERIMENTAL SOLO project, Live Performance, explores the combination of acoustic drums and analog electronics in a simple and minimal setup.
Using a prepared drum kit, a synth, a guitar pedal, a mixer, and one microphone, Lucia performs without computers or complex equipment. This setup allows her to focus on creativity and real-time interaction between acoustic and electronic sounds.
The result is a dynamic and experimental live set where loops, textures, and rhythms evolve naturally, showing a fresh approach to blending live drumming with electronic sound design.
An eclectic London-based duo formed by Lucia Fenzi and Giacomo in 2018, still active today and blending electronic and acoustic sounds through studio and live experimentation.
Their genre-fluid music draws from baroque arrangements, 20th-century harmonies, film scores, early electronics, and contemporary jazz.
Lucia combines live drumming, looping, and modular synths, while Giacomo shapes analog and digital textures with custom controllers, creating an expressive, immersive sound world.
In 2017, Lucia Fenzi and Simone Bastianello founded an experimental music duo focused on electronic effects, created exclusively through the no-input mixer technique and an acoustic drum kit.
Despite Simone being based in Italy and Lucia in London, they continue to collaborate remotely, producing music that blends improvisation with a shared artistic vision.
The project includes two live sessions, one live video, and two clip videos, all fully improvised.
Through this duo, Lucia showcases her availability as an experimental drummer for electronic, noise, and organic duos or bands, where her jazz expertise and passion for electronics merge with her originality and musicality.
Lucia Fenzi is a jazz drummer and composer, active in both the experimental and traditional jazz scenes.
Here you can listen to tracks recorded in Italy in 2014 with her jazz trio, featuring Marco Vavassori on double bass and Samuele Duse on piano.
The pieces, composed by Lucia, were recorded live in a Venice studio, reflecting the group’s strong interplay and spontaneity.
Although the trio is no longer active, Lucia remains involved in the jazz community and is available for performances, collaborations, and for arranging or composing original jazz works in London and across Europe.
